Are you a camping enthusiast who looks for a new camping adventure any chance you get? Well, you are not alone. In the states, people vote camping to be one of the most preferred outdoor activities and for one reason among many is that it's an activity that does not require a lot of money, nor extreme physical strength.

Whether or not this is your first camping experience, you might also still be asking what is better between camping in a tent or in a motor home. Well, this is up to an individual's choice and it is also dependent on the camping location. In this article, I am going to show my personal opinions on the advantages and disadvantages of the two.

The benefits of camping in the traditional tent are many. One of the most important ones is the cost. Although you may find that there are various types of tents; some are expensive than others, but all in all, camping in tents is definitely more cost-effective. The tents can be used from time and time again, and if you're a regular camper it's best to invest in good quality, all-season tents which you can use on many camping trips to come.

Certainly, nothing beats the feeling of spending the night in the mid of the nature, and the closest you can get to that while being able to protect yourself from the nasty bug bites and uncomfortable humidity is sleeping in a good tent. The camping feel you get from camping in tents is another great benefit.

The downsides of camping in the tents also exist. It has a little bit to do with the camping locations you choose and the time of the year you choose to go camping. If it's raining season camping in tents can be a little bit frustrating to some people who hate the process of tent setting up and cooking in tents while having to fight with the wind and the rain at the same time. That's why some people prefer camping in motor homes.

Although motor homes are certainly more comfortable and convenient when you want to spend the night on remote locations, they are also too expensive and not affordable by everyone. It's not really a choice for those who want to do camping on budget. But motor homes are also available for rent so if you are able to plan in advance and save up you will be able to afford this style of camping with comfort.
